Hello Everyone,
I have been supporting clients who use Veeam for almost 3 years and feel I'm more than competent with most aspects of the B&R versions. However I have a weekly copy job which I want to begin on Friday at 6pm each week and then run over the weekend until completion - however I do not work at this time.
If I enable the job now, it starts now - which slows down the storage location too much during work hours.
I have access to the server until 5pm Friday, but the job can't start at this time as then the cycle will start at 5pm every Friday and cause slowness.
What is the Veeam recommended way of achieving this?
Sorry if this is a stupid question.... I don't know the answer at present!

Re: Question - How to schedule the start of a copy job
Jamie, you can change the synchronization interval start time or simply restrict the time the job is allowed to start at the Schedule step of the job settings wizard.

HI Foggy, thanks for the reply and sorry in being slow to get back to you.
I guess what confuses me is the below:
I guess what you are suggesting is to enable this job and then just disable the backup window until the required start time
