According to Broadcom information , VMware Cloud Director(vCD) will be converted to VCF9 .
Please ask about new integrations that Veeam will provide with VCF 9 in the future.
Provide similar functionality to previous integration with vCD?
EX: Veeam Plugin for VCD & for Tenant Backup these features.
I would like to ask if it is already in the future development roadmap
Thank you Veeam R&D Team
Looking forward to your good news
Jimmy

Re: R&D has any plans or blueprints to support VMware VCF9
The only thing that really changes is the version naming, and everything aligns with the underlying vSphere version now.
As always, our intent is to support new vSphere and vCD versions within 90 days of the GA release.
This is independent of the vSphere or vCD is used within VCF or not.
Yes, we have early access, and we are always preparing upfront for the releases, but at the end of the VMware development process, there can be a lot of changes at the last minute, so we need to do a full regression testing with potential product changes on the VMware side against the GA release. As well timing needs to align with one of our updates/releases when we need to do product changes for it. This is why our intent is to support new VMware versions and updates within 90 days.
