RAM recommendation for REFS

@HannesK -- if the 1GB per 1TB for ReFS is no longer needed, are there specs on how a repo server should get configured? CPU/RAM specifically since it appears the size of ReFS drives is not relevant.

I am just curious if this is noted on the BP site or others?

I split your question from the original thread to avoid derailing it completely (yes, I asked where he found the information in 2022, but that should not start a new discussion on that topic )

The best practice guide still says 512MB RAM per TB up to 128GB RAM. In the end, it sounds irrelevant, because servers today often have more than 32 cores... which means more than 128 GB RAM anyway.

I don't know The REFS improvement was posted some years ago via the forum newsletter.
