RDX Drive Support
Hi,
I just have a quick question. I have a dedicated backup server, Veeam is installed on this and backups my VM's to local storage. I need to also backup this backups in order to take data offsite in the event of a disaster.
I have an internal E-Sata RDX drive, does Veeam Backup recognise this as a backup destination?
Also has anyone tried to setup a remote location backup via ADSL connections?
I look forward to your responses
Ian

Re: RDX Drive Support
Hi, if you can see the volume under My Computer on Veeam Backup server, then Veeam can back up there. What is the uplink speed for your ADSL connection? Thanks.

Re: RDX Drive Support
Backup seeding is easy, we do support changing backup target for existing jobs. 1Mb may be enough depending on amount of VMs and volume of daily changes, but you will definitely need Hyper-IP or some other WAN accelerator for sure.
