I am looking to purchase a storage device to use with VEAAM and ESX 4.0 Essentials. I plan to create a VM server and install Veeam and then send my backup files out of my ESX hosts. At this moment I am looking at Iomega's ix2-200 and Drobo FS. I wonder any of you had any recommendations and any of these 2 devices actually work with Veeam. I will only need 1-2 TB of storage at this moment.
My budget is less than $600.

Re: Recomendation for Backup Storage (Entry Level)
By the way I forgot to mention. I only have one ESX host with 4 VMs running, Windows Business Essentials (1 Forefront, 1 DC, 1 Exchange, 1 BES server). Storage is less than 500 GB at this moment so I think 2 TB should be enought to keep at least 1 week of backups.

Hello Sam, please try searching for Drobo on this forum, there are couple of topics where other customers are sharing various alternatives (Drobo is just one of them).
