Hi Team
I was using Veeam for my disaster recovery environment.
Basically i was failing over my production servers to my DR site and was working for 1 week.
Just yesterday i was trying to failback to production but i accidentally clicked on
"undo failover" instead of "permanent failover".
I created no backups from my DR servers during this time so have no snapshots as well.
I have lost 1 week of work. Is there any way to recover data from DR site?
PLEASE HELP!

Re: Recover failover data after "undo failover"
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
Hannes
and welcome to the forums.
I see no realistic way for that. See user guide and there is also a message box before undoing failover that says "any disk changes happened after failover will be lost"Is there any way to recover data from DR site?
Best regards,Veeam Backup & Replication discards all changes made to the VM replica while it was in the Failover state.

You should have done permanent failover a week ago to avoid running VMs on snapshots during all this time.

Thanks for replying guys.
One other thing i noticed while i was poking around in the datastore on the DR site, there are delta disks within the virtual machine folders. The name of the delta disks begin with mailserver-0001-delta.vmdk...,etc.
Is it possible to mount these disks and retrieve the files and folders from 1 week ago?

Re: Recover failover data after "undo failover"
Hello,
I'm not sure I understood your question, but yes, you can restore files from Veeam replicas: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... 00#replica
The restore wizard asks, whether you want to restore from backups for from replicas.
Best regards,
Hannes
