I just started testing a new Veeam environment where for the first time I’m using a Windows ReFS formatted repository. My question should be easy, but I’ve not been able to find any good online references to it – and that is, is there some way to determine the actual disk space used or saved on this new ReFS drive, over what would have been used had the drive been formatted as an NTFS volume?
What about the Windows server role Data Deduplication – would adding that feature provide more usable space on the ReFS formatted drive?
Any other interesting information about the ReFS drives overall performance that is available someplace?
Thanks for any information you might have.

Re: ReFS formatted drive - any way to see the deduplication stats?
I'm locking this thread as duplicate. Please use forum search before creating new topics.
For example:
Where do I see the ReFS space savings in Veeam?
We advice not to enable Windows deduplication on ReFS volumes. If you're interested in details, you can read up details in the existing topic as well.
Thanks!
