Howdy fellas!
We just took over a VEEAM B&R installation where some 20 jobs are chained. Each job backing up a single Hyper-V VM. What would happen to the backup chain if:
we removed the chaining and let the Veeam-manager and concurrent tasks handle the backups?
2ndly: rearrange the jobs, rebuilt them and configure "per-vm-files" on the repo?
Would the existing backupfiles be "reused" or built from scratch?
Greetnx

Re: Remove Job chaining
Hi Harry, this is the right step to do. If you just remove jobs chaining, jobs will continue using existing backups, no issues here. But if you decide to combine all VMs into a single job and switch to per-VM backup chains, full backup will be required.
