Hi!
I have a customer with some quite larges servers and backups, and now one of the repositories are getting quite full, and we need to reduce size, we have of course adjusted the retention, but we also have som backup-jobs that not run anymore, and we need to remove some of the older restore points without starting the job again.
Does this kb not work anymore:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/ba ... point.html
I only have the option copy path or mark clean for malware.
I think I had a SR some years ago, where support told me to hold a key-kombination down before opening console/this view and that gave me the option to delete/remove the retention points.

Re: Remove old restore points manually
Hi Anders,
The key combination you're discussing is not for actually removing the backup files, it will only allow for Veeam to "forget" about the backups.
Lowering retention would be the best option here, but if you must delete manually, you can delete from the repository directly, rescan the repository, and then go to the Properties on the backup under Backups > Disk. The deleted restore points will be marked as missing, and then you can select to "forget" them.
