Hi,
If I provide an username/password in General Options inside Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SQL Server tool, how can I remove it?
Everytime I want to remove it or just use a wrong password, Veeam Explorer tries it and, because it fails, I cannot save the "wrong password".
Is there a way to empty the username/password fields?

Hello Davide,
Can you please check if that account is listed under Veeam B&R Credentials Manager? If it's required you can delete it from there. Cheers!

Re: Remove password from General Options in Veeam SQL Explorer
Hello,
If Davide is talking about SQL Staging Server credentials, then there are 2 options:
1) To simply uncheck the box "Use this helper SQL Server for advanced recovery functionality" instead of trying to store "wrong" credentials
2) Credentials can be deleted from Windows Credential Manager: look for Veeam_Backup_SQLExplorer_Machine and Veeam_Backup_SQLExplorer_SQL
Thanks!

Thank you PetrM,
#2 worked for me!
(I cannot use #1 because I'm still on 9.5)
Thanks!
