remove wan accelerator? post trial mode

Hi,

I have a client who originally ran Veeam 7.0 in (Enterprise Plus" trial mode, and had it all configured including a WAN accelerator setup. They then purchased and installed a standard license and applied it, was all good. We've since updated to Veeam 8.0. Now when I open the Veeam B&R console, it prompts to do a components upgrade of a remote machine that was previously configured (when under the trial license) as the remote Windows Server / WAN Accelerator - however that machine no longer exists so I cannot continue.

If I then cancel that screen then go into Backup Infrastructure / Managed Servers / Out of Date node and right click to remove the server from there, it tells me that it cannot remove because its in use by a WAN Accelerator. If I go to WAN Accelerators screen, because we don't have Enterprise Plus, it just shows the "This functionality is available in Veeam... Enterprise Plus Edition" page with no option to remove the WAN accelerator. I tried installing the Veeam Powershell from the 8.0 backups folder on the ISO (with the intention of trying to remove from CLI) but but I don't get a "Tools / Veeam Powershell" shortcut as it mentions in the reference guide. Other than mucking around getting and installing another trial key in order to show the WAN Accelerators screen, is there any other option to remove this component?

Hi, have a look at http://forums.veeam.com/veeam-backup-re ... 29266.html.

You will need to get a trial key for Ent+, remove it and then go back to the standard edition.

Requested a trial license but it didn't work. I suspect its because I can only request a 9.x version key, however I need a trial license for 8.x. I can't find any link for a 8.x trial key.
