Removed VM from backup - no longer available

I have removed a VM from a backup job only days ago and I have a legthy retention on this backup job.

I have NOT removed the VM from the backup disk - however, if I now try to conduct a restore, I can not see that VM in the backup job catalog.

When I go to run a restore job, it does not show me this VM as an available candidate to restore?

Any ideas?

George, what is your Deleted VMs retention period setting value?

Its 7 days and I was certain my vm was removed from the job in less time than that when I first tried to restore it.

Thinking about it, it's now probably longer than 7 days since I did actually remove it.

I will now try and restore my vbk file from tape and import that backup and restore from that - I'll let you know how it goes Foggy.
