Removing files from within the backups

Hello,

Some colleagues within our company are leaving and we have to remove the mail files of some users.
My question is, is it possible to delete files from within a created backup file? or do i just have to wait untill the new round of snapshots are made?

You cannot modify backup files contents, so you need to wait until corresponding data will be subjected to retention.
