Rename Veeam Server

Hi,

Is there an easy way to rename a Veeam Backup and Replication Server?

Essentially Veeam Backup and replication is installed and backups have been running, but the server names are not in line with standards so we would like to change them has anyone tried this or know of any issues we should be aware of.

Hi Matt, you can try to rename but put the old name in the hosts file on both backup server itself and Enterprise Manager server (if you are using one). This should help to avoid any issues. Disclaimer: I have not tested this personally. Thanks.
