Replica from Backup Seed

Post by Jezza »

Hi,

Created a backup of 2 servers onto USB, sent USB to DR site, I will copy the backup to DR site repository and then create a replica and use the backup as the initial seed.

Question is after a successful first replica can the copied backup that has been used as a seed then be deleted ?

Thanks in advance

Jeremy

Can the backup used for seeding at DR site be removed after seeding and successfully completed replication job?

Hi Bikram and welcome to the community!

Yes, the seed can be deleted after the replication is done. Thanks!
