My environment:
3 "local" ESX 4.1 hosts running vSphere Advanced on a vCenter Foundation platform ( 3 host max )
1 "remote" ESX 4.1 host managed outside of vCenter
Veeam licenses for 7 sockets
I just rolled out my remote ESX host today and attempted to create a replica job to replicate a VM from one of the local ESX hosts to the remote ESX host. When I browse this remote ESX host in the job setup to select the target datastore, no datastores are displayed. I have verified the connection credentials are accurate.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciate!
thanks in advance,
Bill

Re: Replica Job Setup - Cannot See Datastores on Target Serv
UPDATE: if I add the remote server by it's IP address instead of its FQDN, I can see the datastores. Strange....

Re: Replica Job Setup - Cannot See Datastores on Target Serv
Interesting issue, it is unexpected. Did you check if you have correct DNS name set in remote ESXi host settings?
