Replication CBT & Storage Optimizations

Post by webstyler »

Hello

2 questions about Replication

1) Enable CBT on VMs is a rights choice always ? And both Windows and Linux ?

2) On scenario where replication is make on the private lan Gbits and target is another esxi host the right "Storage Optimizations" is Local Taget OR LAN Target ?

Thanks

Hello Simon

1. Yes, absolutely.
2. LAN, since you are replicating to the target located over 1Gb LAN.

Thanks!

Hello Carlo, for local SAN you want to use "Local" target for best performance. Thanks!
