Hi,
i am trying to do replication from remote site. The total size of the vm is about 30GB and i want to replicate it over my WAN link.
i installed Veeam Backup & Replication to my main site now i want to go over the the remote site and do the initial replication to a usb drive.
what do i need to have on the remote site? do i have to install veeam backup & replication there as well? or is there some outher services i need to install on a server at the remote site?

Re: Replication from remote site
Hello,
If you want to initially seed VMs from a remote site, you need to have a backup server deployed there. Currently seeding is available only with a local backup server installed, however this is going to be changed in v6, meaning that seeding will be available from any site.
For a general description of seeding functionality you may also want to look at User Guide (page 71).
Thank you.
