Hi guys,
Excuse my ignorance I really should know this but I cant seem to find a definitive answer - if there is one? Im looking to work out the storage requirement for 5 restore points on a replication job of 1.5TB with a compression level of extreme. Is there a simple calculation I can do to work this one out?
Thanks as always

Re: Replication job with rentention policy - Restore Points
Could you please clarify, are you asking about replication jobs or backup copy jobs?

Re: Replication job with rentention policy - Restore Points
Then there's no compression, since replica restore points are stored in native format. Anyway, space required on the target datastore will depend on the guest OS change rate, but you can use this tool for initial assessment.
