In a replication job where I've created re-ip rules, if I leave the DNS and WINS entries blank in the re-ip rule, the replicated VM gets blank DNS and WINS entries.
I thought if you left those settings blank in the job, no changes would be made to those settings from the backup copy job that the replication job is pulling from.
Is this a bug, or did I understand this wrong?

The rule gets applied as a whole (not just partially). So, the described behaviour looks expected. Thanks!
