replication save point

Post by warix »

Hello,

Iwant to replicate my vm on my PRA site.
I have 1To to replicate and 1.8To on my second site.

If a keep one savepoint my first replication is full that is ok . but my second replication is a full or incremental?

Thanks for your help

Every subsequent job run is an incremental one. If you set a retention policy to 1, then a replication job will only update the VM image with recent changes and you will have a single restore point. Thanks.

Replication without keeping the last difference

Post by Fox54 »

[merged]

Hi,

I would like to have a replaication that would not keep the last .vrb file. It would just replicate on my second server. Because my second server has a little less space on its storage

I keep track of the difference only in the backup (done on a NAS) and not in the backup VMware server

I cannot select 0 in the "number of replication" to keep. It only allows one

Thanks
