Replication Targets

Hi,

If my question has already been answered, I would appreciate a reference of where to look. I've looked and haven't found anything conclusive.

Question #1: Can the VMware Hypervisor (free ESXi) be used as a replication target?

Question #2: Is there a readily available list of all replication target options? (All I've found is references to ESX(i) 3 & 4)

Clarification would be much appreciated.

Hi Otto,

1. No, target host has to be licensed as well.
2. ESX(i) 3.x and ESX(i) 4.x are the only replication targets supported.
