REPO considerartions

Post by badabing888 »

Hi All,

Does anyone know if you can

1.Mix ReFS repo's with Linux repo's in a SOBR
2. I believe there was an issue if you moved then remapped a backup chain from a ReFS repo to a NTFS repo that would break a job. Does this also hold true going from ReFS to a linux repo using XFS?

thanks!

Since you can mix Linux, Windows and dedupe appliance repos within the same SOBR, I believe your point 1 is also possible. Additionally, here is a similar topic discussing the backups move between ReFS and XFS, might be useful. Thanks!

I'm not aware of any such issues.
