Reporting on Replication Jobs

Post by gsilva »

Hi,

Is there a way to report on history stats n replication jobs?

I want to basically have access to the same data I see when browsing through jobs stats for a specific job but on a list format so I can look for patterns.

I'm seeing specific replication jobs that replicate every two hours go from an average of four minutes to sometimes 8-10 hours and I need to see if there is a pattern somewhere that is causing that.

Thanks
Germano

Hi Germano,

You can use cursor keys to go between replication job sessions and look at previous runs of the job. Also have you seen our Enterprise Manager's reporting capabilities?

Thanks.

Yep, you should be able to create Excel export with this data using the Enterprise Manager reports.

I know I can use the cursor keys to go through each run one at a time, but that's too time consuming and very hard to identify the patterns that I'm trying to identify, especially if I need to go back 2-4 weeks. I like the idea of exporting this data to excel with the Enterprise Report Manager and I'm going to check if that's something I have access to.

Thanks
