Repository location after dettaching a disk

Hi.

We need some assistance in scenario below.

SITE1:
VBR server 12.2 on Esxi host connected to IBM storage.
Primary repository added as vmware disk (location IBM storage SITE1).

SITE2:
VeeamTapeServer

We had to physically move Storage from SITE1 to SITE2.
VBR no longer sees that Vmware disk, and we will attach the disk to VeeamTapeServer in SITE2.
How can we now safely dettach repository from VBR, and represent the new location of repository in VBR environment without loosing the information about the backups on it?

Basically (long story short) we have dettached Vmware disk from VBR, and now we will attach disk on VeeamTapeServer.
