restore 3TB disk on another server

Hello,

we have a fileserver (w2k8r2) with a 3TB disk that is backuped via Veeam 9.5. The backup works like a charm (on a vmware infrastructure).
We plan to migrate this FS to another one and for test purpose only,we want to copy over 2M files and 400K folders on another disk BUT without ntfs rights and get rid of longpaths problems.

- I tried with the C:\VeeamFLR shortcut to copy/paste but the ntfs rights come with and longpaths make the copy buggy.
- i tried with GUI the restoration on a local disk (4TB) attached on the Veeam VM but the transfer rate is bad and it will take long long time to copy. 24h?48h?72h? I am not sure during the restoration, Veeam continue to backup my FS...

So, last idea, is Veeam capable of restore an entire disk to another one ? Like a snapshot or something like this that takes less time?

What about export to VHD/VHDX? These can be mounted natively in Windows.

it was backuped by vm backup job.
@Gostev : For test purpose, we try to copy (3TB) 2M files and 400k folders with ntfs rights applied on them to another server.
We cant do that from the production server.
We can clone the disk also, i just thought about it...

Have you considered VM disk restore instead?
