Restore a workflow in SharePoint 2013

Hi everyone!

I successfully restored a list and specific items from SharePoint 2013. My problem is that I didn't find in the SharePoint Explorer the workflows that are created in SharePoint. We have a few workflows (vacations request, tech support request, etc) and a lot of work are put into those. Am I missing something or is this not supported at this time? I can see "Workflow tasks" in the SharePoint Explorer, but those are all empty.

I'm running B&R 8.0.0.917 Enterprise Plus.

Martin, restoration of workflows is not currently supported.

It could get there but with pretty low priority. We typically prioritize features based on the number of requests and your request for this feature seems to be the first one.

OK I understand but I think that SharePoint is going to be growing in importance for a lot of businesses and workflow is an important part of it. Thanks!

Yes, we will keep an eye on it. Objects of this type are not stored as single solid items that could be easily restored and, moreover, they are actively dynamically updated by the server itself, so their recovery is not an easy task, as it might seem.

You are right. We are also using SharePoint workflows a lot and the demand is growing.
