restore AD objects from a list (csv)
Is it possible to import a list from csv with samaccountnames/userprincipalnames to restore from object level backups? Explorer is great but my objects are scattered around different OUs that require a log of time in between to find the object then run the restore as it seems to be indexing everytime you search. Input list of objects via csv would be a faster way if that is possible.

Re: restore AD objects from a list (csv)
Hi Basil, welcome to the forums.
Not directly within the UI for your request, but you could use our Powershell cmdlets and import the CSV contents to build some array of items to restore and restore them.
I am not as familiar with AD object structure to give specific pointers, but give it a shot and if you hit bumps, we have a Powershell forum where you can get assistance with scripting.
