Hello everyone,
I am still a beginner in Veeam backup and recovery system. There is a client from Veeam that works independently of the central Backup & Replication solution. What happens if the Backup & Replication server and the computer from which the backup originates is defective? How can I restore the backup from it without the central Backup & Replication solution?
With kind regards
attilay

Re: Restore backup
Hello,
You will need to spin up another instance of Veeam B&R. You can restore configuration on another server with Veeam B&R installed OR just add a repository with the enabled checkbox "Search the repository for existing backups and import them automatically" to backup infrastructure of a new server if you don't have a configuration backup OR just rescan an existing repository if you already added it to a new Veeam B&R server.
Thanks!
