Folks,
Perhaps this enhancement request has been done before, but here goes:
Is it possible to add an option, while restoring guest files, that says "restore only missing files and folders"?
For example, if someone by mistake has deleted a few files or folders, it would be very useful to be able to restore only what has been deleted.
As far as I can understand, the "overwrite" option overwrites existing files and folders, regardless of whether they are newer or older.
And the "keep" option leaves two versions of the files that already exist, and for me, that is not a desired outcome.
Kind regards,
PJ

Re: Restore Guest Files - Enhancement Request
Hi Per,
For File Level Restores from Windows machines, you can use the Compare Files and Folders feature to restore only deleted/changed files.
Same with Unstructured Data Backups (both File Share backups and Object Storage backups), you can use the compare feature to get a list of the changed/deleted files, and restore simply those.
