Restore guest files from ReFS

Hi

We are planning on a migration from Exchange 2013 to 2016. ReFS file system is recommended for Exchange DB's and Logfils.

But can I restore single mails from ReFS formatted volumens when my VBR server is running on Windows 2008 R2

Hi Dennis,

If you look at the Platform support page (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/backup/vsp ... pport.html) you can see under file level restore the following:
- ReFS (ReFS is supported only if Veeam Backup & Replication is installed on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2).

You'll have to upgrade the server as 2008 R2 won't work.

Well I upgrade the B&R server to Windows 2012 R2 without any problems, just testet a restore from an Exchange 2016 with Refs, and works like a charm.
