When I use the File Level Restore wizard to restore Linux files it fails.
In the wizare it asks for esxi server, ressource pool and Network.
My question is:
I need help to insert the right information in the fields ESXi server, and Network.
Is this right?
esxi server --> host where the vm is hosted, that you whant to resore files from??
Network --> MUST be the Network where Veeam 8 is on, or does it not mather that it is another network??
Greetings Brian

Re: restore linux files fails
Linux file-level restore process utilizes FLR helper appliance, to which disks of the backed up VM are mounted. You just need to specify the host to create FLR appliance on (it can be any available host, not necessarily the same where the backed up VM resides) and network to plug the appliance in (the appliance must be placed in the same network where the Veeam B&R backup server resides).
