Hello guys,
I manage my Veeam for Azure with an Onpremise VBR.
I want to restore Guest OS Files from my VBR, as usual Veeam asks a helper host to attach the disk. Unfortunatly I dont have any Vms Onprem to assure this role.
Is that possible to use the Veeam for Azure Appliance for that or do I have to deploy an instance in Azure for this ?
thanks

Re: Restore Linux Guest Files from VBR
Hello,
The helper host can be any managed Linux server. So you just need a Linux machine (wherever it runs), that can be added to VBR as managed Linux server. That can be for example a Linux VM that you plan to back up.
Best regards,
Hannes
PS: that looks more like a Backup & Replication question, so I moved it to the Backup & Replication forums.
