restore point for forever forward incremental backup

Dear all
Hi

i have a question about forever forward incremental backup in this way when i set restore point on 3 and schedule backup for every 10 min i think have to keep just 3 restore point but today after 24 hours see it kept more than 120 restore point

what is the matter ?
why when set 3 restore point it kept more than 100 restore point ?

Hi,
Are you sure you have no full or synthetic backups scheduled?
Another guess is you have per-VM backup on the repository and those 120 backups are 3 restore points of each of 40 VMs you backup.
