Restore, proxies and hot-add

What is the proxy mechanism look like behind a restore? When doing a restore on full VM I see in the logs printed what source proxy is being used. Who is doing the actual write? Shouldnt there be a write or destination proxy?

Fredrik, could you please describe your setup in a bit more detail? Basically, the automatic proxy selection algorithm is described in this post and should work both for the source and target proxy. Without knowing the details of your environment it's hard to tell whether it works correct or not in your case. There are also limitations for this or that transport mode that could affect proxy selection.
