Hi,
Due to original backup location has been full, I have move some single full backups to another location manually. Now I try to restore one of this full backup but Veeam can't find these backup. Please advise how can Veeam locate these backup for restore. Thanks!
Veeam version is 8.0
Regards,
Michael

Re: restore single full backup - manually relocated
Hi Michael, if you've just moved them manually (i.e. outside of Veeam B&R) to another storage, Veeam B&R cannot be aware of where they are. You can import these backups in Veeam B&R console and then use them for restores.

[MERGED] Restore question vbk files
Hi,
If I only have the vbk file from the backup, and would like to restore this to a complete new Veeam B&R server, is that possible ? would I be able to restore the data inside ? Or would I need other files like vbm
Thanks for reply.
/R

Re: Restore question vbk files
Hi,
Yes, you are able to import any .vbk file and if it's not encrypted you can perform restore, otherwise, you should provide the password before the restore. Thanks!
