Hi,
We are using Veeam Backup & Replication 8.0.0.2084(windows 2012) to backup VMs from Esxi 5.5 hosts.
I want to restore a VMs from backup to local hard disk so that I can run it locally.
I was wondering can I restore it to local harddisk. I checked Veem interface but did not find any option.
Is it possible?

Re: Restore VM from backup to local harddisk
Hello t2016,
Specific VM files can be restored locally from the backup file thru the VM files restore wizard. Kindly, check this article (it's related to the latest version 9 of the product but wizard remains the same) and let us know if it helps. Thanks.

Re: Restore VM from backup to local harddisk
You mean you want to run one or more of these VMs inside something like VMware Workstation/Fusion?
You could use the Extract utility to extract VMX/VMDK files from the Veeam VBK files.
