Restore VM to specific SQL Log Backup point

We're running SQL log backups on some of our servers, and I know that I can restore the SQL Components to a particular query, or to a point in time - which is great. What I'm trying to figure out, is if I can restore the entire VM to a SQL point in time... (e.g. Latest snapshot backup + SQL restore to point in time I select).

Is this possible?

Yes, in two steps. You restore the VM first, then restore databases to a point in time. Thanks!
