Hi
I was looking to test Exchange/DC restores from backup to a test network (completely seperate from production network) and was wondering if there are any issues with doing so?
I.E Will it mark the .vkb once restored onto a test bed and do anything funny with the production guests on the next backup?
Thanks

Re: Restore VMs to test bed
Tom,
There is no way you can actually harm the backup .vbk as you are only restoring.. i do tests that like regular

Re: Restore VMs to test bed
Thank for the quick reply Trev.
I wasn't too concerned about damaging the .vbk itself, more any "gotchas" for the next time a backup occured in regards to the live production guest.
