Hi everybody,
I use Veeam Backup v5.
My backups are made on a DataDomain...the backup files are replicated on another Datadomain for security reason.
Is there a way to restore a VM (or a VM file) directly from the replicated backup files in case of (for instance) a crash of the main DataDomain ?
Thank you.
Regards,
Eric.

Re: Restore with backup files in a different directory
Hi Eric,
Yes, you can either import backup files from the second DataDomain device to the backup console or use extract.exe utility (please search these forums for more info on this tool) to restore entire VM just with a command line.
Thanks!
