Restoring Backup in ESX3.5 to ESX4.1

We are currently evaluating applications for our DR solutions, specifically looking at ability to restore backup to different hardware and ESX environmnet

Is it possible to Restore a backup created on ESX 3.5 to a server running ESX 4.1?

Yes, you should be able to restore those VMs just fine.
