Restoring backups taken with older versions of veeam?

If I take a full VM backup today with Veeam v7 and never run that job again, will I be able to restore that backup without an issue years later with Veeam v10?

Yes, so far we always provided backward compatibility with previous versions, so you will be able to import the backup in every subsequent version and restore from it.
