Hi,
I'm trying to restore a .VMDK file to a Windows CIFS share. The same one that the backups go to.
I get to the Restore Destionation part of The Restore Wizard and it asks me for a Destination. I say My Computer (Because all other options are ESXi hosts)
Then the path to folder part is grayed out. So I press Browse, and then my problem here is it takes quite a while for the computers to populate under "Network". Is there a way I can just type a UNC path in there instead of browsing to it?
I'm assuming this is possible via the PowerShell so I guess I should really start reading about that, but I was hoping maybe there was something I could do in the GUI
Thanks!

Re: Restoring to UNC path
Hi, if its grayed out, then you cannot enter the path there. It does not make sense though why it is grayed out. We need to change that...

Re: Restoring to UNC path
Gotcha. I'm glad you noticed, maybe it'll be changed in the future. I can deal with it until then
Thanks,
