Restoring VM Files While Source Backup Copy Job Is Running

Perhaps a dumb question but you can restore VMware VM files (.vmx, .vmdk, etc.) from a Backup Copy job while the copy job is still running and actively sending data, correct? This is a Cloud Connect based Backup Copy job that we are doing a test import/restore for. Getting some odd errors, mainly File does not exist on the .vmdk's (even after rescanning the repository).

Correct, it should be possible from all restore points, except the latest one (the one being created) and two oldest ones (the ones being transformed). Thanks.
