I am struggling to restore an entire VM from a backup that was done by BackupExec. Veeam is configured to keep 12 restore points. BackupExec runs each week to backup the vbk/vib files to tape. I need to restore from the tape in BackupExec, so I restored all files and placed them into the same directory as the current 12 Veeam restore points. However, if I attempt to restore from within Veeam, the older restore points are not an option.
Can you please advise on what I might be missing?

What steps did you take to restore the data? Thanks. However, if I attempt to restore from within Veeam, the older restore points are not an option.

Re: Restoring VM from old restore points?
I would restore those files to a different directory and then just use the import button to browse and import the backup since it's just temporary.
