Hi,
we've upgraded to V12 and did the upgrade on the backup chain. We noticed that the setting to keep 180 days of backups seems to have no effect on our backup copys anymore. We are currently at 220+ days of backups. Case #06002336
Did anybody else had any problems?
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter
Upgrade from V10?
If so, have you seen the consideration for backup copy jobs?

Re: Retention Policy set to 180 days - now at 220+ days of Backups
Found the missing piece: The manual active full after enabling backup encryption started a new chain (so far as expected) - but it won't synthesise the old chain anymore (not expected)... I didn't notice my co-worker starting a new backup chain, so error on our side
