Reverse Incremental max retention points

Is there a best practice on how many retention points that can be in a reverse incremental backup? My requirements are 4 backups a day and keep 30 day retention which would be 120 retention points in the backup chain. I am looking to reduce the required amount of disk space required and not use Forward Incremental with weekly fulls.

Are 120 retention points in a reverse incremental too many?

Hi Nick, 120 restore points is ok for reverse incremental chain. Here's a bit more on that.
