Hi,
Hopefully a simple question. I'm wondering if I choose to do a reverse incremental with scheduled full actives, how many full VBKs will be stored? For example, I create a new backup on Sun and schedule full actives for Wed, will I have something like this:
Sun - VBK (first full backup)
Mon - VBK (Mon) + VBR (Sunday VBR)
Tue - VBK (Tue) + VBR (Mon) + VBR (Sun)
Wed - VBK (Wed - new VBK created from active full) + VBR (Tue) + VBR(Mon) + VBR(Sun)
or will I have something like this:
Sun - VBK (first full backup)
Mon - VBK (Mon) + VBR (Sunday VBR)
Tue - VBK (Tue) + VBR (Mon) + VBR (Sun)
Wed - VBK (Wed - new VBK created from active full) + VBK (Tue full) + VBR(Mon) + VBR(Sun)

Re: Reverse incrementals with active fulls - how many VBKs?
Assuming a week retention, you will have for a moment 3 fulls:
