Support ticket 5206244
Failed to open management RPC connection to proxy service. Port: '6162'. The RPC server is unavailable. The log file shows the proxy service is connected on port 6160. Couple lines later
the log shows creating file commander. After that it tries to connect to the proxy service on port 6162. It fails, my repository isn't listening on port 6162. But why is Veeam trying to communicate using that port? I can't backup my data because of this error.

Re: Rpc proxy service error
Port 6162 is used by the Veeam Transport Service which is responsible for managing Veeam agents during backup and replication processes. You should have this port opened to successfully backup your VMs.
Please take a look at our User Guide (page 59) for more info on the used networks ports. Hope this helps!

Re: Rpc proxy service error
Actually, this port is not static, but configurable by user at proxy server install time.
