No updates about this topic yet. Currently, Veeam B&R (the server component) can be installed on a Windows box only, but thanks for your FR to our next releases.

Thanks for your fast respond. According to your answer, I assume that this is still not on the roadmap? Can you explain why? You are providing backup for Linux, I think a lot of companies who are using that feature, do not have a Windows environment. Besides that a lot of tools nowadays are available for Windows/Linux or via an appliance.
